Short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who is responsible
Unafraid, [name of the publisher], [postal address]. Contact: h.saldivar.massimi@gmail.com.
What we collect, and why
- Visiting the site: our host keeps technical server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) for security, for a limited time. We use no analytics or advertising cookies, and our fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data goes to Google.
- Newsletter: your email address, only if you sign up, to send you the Sunday zine. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
- Comments: if you comment, the name, email address and IP address you provide, to publish your comment and fight spam.
- Emails and pitches: what you send us, to answer you and work with you on a piece.
Where your data is stored
The site is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland, a country the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection. We do not transfer your data to third parties, except [newsletter service, if not hosted on this site].
How long we keep it
Newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Comments for as long as they are published. Pitches and emails for up to [2] years, unless we work together.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its use, by writing to h.saldivar.massimi@gmail.com. If you think we are not respecting your rights, you can complain to the CNIL (France) or to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
We only use cookies that WordPress needs to work: to keep editors logged in, and to remember your details if you choose to when commenting. No consent banner is needed for these.
